Mr. O.M. Gopinath
Manager
Mr Gopinath, co-owner and manager of HKA, has embarked on this educational project with the sole aim of providing a second home for the kids. Hence, immense thought and effort has gone into the planning and setting up of this establishment where children will not be in dearth of facilities and their comfort & safety will not be compromised.
Gopinath is a veteran in the field of bottling industries; has set up , established and managed various bottling plants in the gulf countries, has been abroad over three decades and now looks forward to running his own enterprise in the best interest of the kids.
Mrs. Helena Gopinath
Principal
Ms Helena Gopinath is an Elementary School Educator with seventeen years of experience in the teaching field in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman, ten of them under the Cambridge/British National Curriculum. As the Principal and co-owner of Hearty Kids’ Abode, her objective is to establish an educational institution that is a stepping stone for tiny tots from various cultural and regional backgrounds. Her multi-faceted tutoring method incorporates best practices from various education boards (CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE) to take the Indian elementary schooling to a new level. At HKA, she has implemented an activity-based education system which forms the core of the British National Curriculum.
As an educator and form tutor Ms Gopinath combines subject knowledge and art to motivate and inspire children. You’ll find that role plays and craft-based activities are an integral component of her fun-filled approach to teaching. She is exceptionally adept at unearthing hidden talents and is adequately experienced in catering to the needs of differently abled children.
This teaching professional is a self-driven leader with immense interpersonal and effective communication skills. Ms Gopinath is also an earnest learner and is open to new ideas and changes. She understands curriculum requirements and its development thereby ensuring an optimal method of instruction at all times. She urges a high standard of cleanliness and safety to be maintained in the school premises, providing a healthy and assuring environment for tutors and children alike.
Her love for children and genuine interest in their social growth inspired her to set up an educational establishment where one could ‘come, experience the difference’. Hearty Kids’ Abode, the brainchild of Ms Helena Gopinath materialized in 2013 with immense support from her husband, Mr O. M. Gopinath, who is manager and co-owner.
Ms Helena Gopinath is originally from the Indian state of Kerala, married and has two children, both well-established in their choices of career. Ms Gopinath, a graduate in English Literature, is an artist herself and uses oil, water, charcoal and pencils as mediums. Her works have been showcased in exhibitions and her cookery skills have been featured on television. Her many talents also include needle-work (appliqué, smocking, embroidery etc.) and calligraphy. Reading helps her unwind.
